Our Philosophy

At Schick Elementary, we believe a holistic approach to education will make a positive difference in the lives of our students. By fostering creative thinking, problem-solving, and emotional coping skills, music classes provide an enriched educational experience while also preparing students to compete and contribute to our global society. The development of these skills begins in our elementary music program and continues through secondary music experiences!

Our Programs

To accomplish this, students will create, perform, respond to, and connect with music as they work develop a foundational understanding of music literacy.
