HS Physical Education

The Loyalsock Area School District strives to provide instructional programs and services that contribute to the quality of life. Physical Education is that part of the total process of education which utilizes games, sports and health fitness activities to help the individual achieve the goals of education. Regular physical activity increases a person’s ability to perform daily activities with great vigor and may reduce the risk for specific health problems.

The Physical Education Department is committed to providing a quality physical education program. Physical Education (PE) classes provide an opportunity to ensure a regular amount of desirable physical activity and help establish activity patterns that may extend into adulthood.
