Lancer Demerit System

The demerit system is not intended to be solely punitive. Instead, the demerit system was activated with the goal of teaching students how to self-monitor behaviors and evaluate choices to best represent not only her/himself, but also the student body of Loyalsock Township High School. A student who earns 6 or more demerits in the first semester will lose the eligibility to participate and attend a prescribed set of extra-curricular events and activities for the remainder of the first semester. When a student earns a total of 12 or more demerits in the school year, s/he will lose all prescribed extra-curricular privileges for the remainder of the school year.

School Forms

In this section you will find a variety of forms that your child may be required to have completed and returned to school. Completed forms, signed by a parent/guardian, should be sent to school with your child for delivery to the designated teacher/office. To navigate to the Student Forms click here.

School Safety Tip Line

The Loyalsock Township School District is pleased to activate our new School Safety Tip Line. Students, parents and community members can provide anonymous tips to school officials via text or voicemail. All information will remain as confidential as possible. Individuals can text message or call 570-995-1TIP if concerns about bullying, drugs, alcohol or weapons are present during school or at any school event, on or off campus. Every Tip Line message is received by a school administrator and screened for urgency. As with all safety matters, we encourage everyone to respect the seriousness of this tool and to report only urgent concerns.
