Club Volleyball – Girls

Volleyball is one of the most interactive sports going. It is a game of intuition. Imagination. Improvisation. But most of all, of reciprocity. Of teamwork. There is no way to freelance in volleyball.”  ~Marv Dunphy – U.S. National Volleyball Coach of 1988 Gold Medal winning team and coach of 5 time NCAA Division I National Championship team at Pepperdine University

HISTORY: Loyalsock’s new volleyball team started out as an informal group of student athletes who met outside of school on the local sand courts.  When their group gathered more interest, they decided to start an AAU travel team, participate in local leagues and gather a group of volunteer coaches.  Then they petitioned the school board to start an official club at Loyalsock Township High School in the summer of 2020.  None of it would have been possible without the constant dedication and support from parents and families.

Days/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Location: Middle School Gym

*Last regularly scheduled practice of this season is 10/6.
