Loyalsock Township Little Lancer Pre-K Program

The Little Lancer Pre-K program allows eligible families with 4-year-old children to apply for our approved high-quality, pre-school program at no cost.

Families living in Pennsylvania with children who meet the required criteria have priority for this program. One of the top priority categories for this program is income eligibility for families meeting the 300% poverty rate. A family of four can earn up to $96,450 a year and still qualify; an income eligibility chart is provided on the next page.

To apply for the Little Lancer Pre-K Program, please complete the PA Pre-K application and submit the required documents listed below.
Applications are available at the District Service Center, 1605 Four Mile Drive, Williamsport.

Rolling applications are received throughout the year. All applicants are notified 10 days after receipt of all application materials of qualification –

1) in program placement, 2) on the prioritized waitlist or 3) not eligible.

____ Child’s Social Security Card or Number on your Tax Return

____ Parent/Guardian Photo ID

____ Two Proofs of Residency: Lease/Deed or Mortgage Statement

____ 2024 Federal Income Tax Return for all adults (18 and over) residing in your household. Please provide the first 2 pages of Federal Form 1040

The following items are due upon acceptance into the program. You may submit these forms with your application; however, they are not required for the application process.

To be eligible for Pre-K Counts, a family’s annual income may not exceed 300% of poverty. 2025 Federal Poverty Guidelines
