Schick Physical Education

We work hard and play hard to achieve a quality Physical Education program that develops a child’s strength, flexibility, and endurance; teaches athletic skills; and promotes a lifetime love of exercise and sports.

Regular participation in physical education programs will:
  • Prepare students with skills for future leisure pursuits through exposures to various individual, team, and alternative activities
  • Develop student’s sense of security with their own body
  • Improve overall mental health
  • Contribute to academic progress by boosting self-esteem
  • Provide an outlet for creativity and self-expression
  • Decrease anger, fatigue, and confusion
