Biography
My name is Jaime Karichner, and I grew up in Muncy, PA.  For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a teacher. Throughout my high school years, I spent most of my time dancing at LKW Dance Center. I became a dance teacher at the studio at young age, which inspired me to go to school to become an elementary teacher.
I graduated from Lock Haven University in 2009 with a B.S.Ed in Elementary Education with a Minor in Special Education and a Concentration in Dance.  Before becoming a permanent teacher at Schick Elementary, I had seven long-term substitute placements: kindergarten, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and six grade. I’m so excited to call Schick my home and be a part of the Loyalsock Community.
