Description:  Have you heard of NearPod and aren’t sure how to start? We’ll walk through all the basics and look at creating a NearPod presentation. Then we’ll look at data collected during the presentation to determine the success of our presentation.

Session Name: Plickers, A cheap alternative to clickers

Time: 9:15-10:15

Audience:  Secondary/General All Levels

Description: Using Plickers (Paper Clicker) you can take class polls, check for class understanding, review games, even give assessments. All you need is a printer, paper, a computer hooked up to a projector and a smartphone, iPad, or tablet with a camera & internet.

Description:  Are you ready to take the first step towards integrating technology into your classroom? Would you like to implement engaging, fun activities into your classroom that can provide you with solid data for formative assessment? If you’ve never tried it – or may be you did and weren’t so sure – this is the session for you. We’ll demonstrate several free tools that you can start using in your classroom tomorrow. Consider this an introductory level session – our presentation may be too basic for advanced users.

Description: Utilize digital portfolios to enhance the learning experience for your students and build relationships with parents as well. In this session, teachers will experience Seesaw as a student, be given step-by-step instructions on setting up their own account and be provided with a variety of ideas and resources to use in the classroom.
