My name is Miss Melanie Schramm and I love teaching third grade! I am always excited to guide students through a growth mindset model to learning and success. My favorite things about teaching third grade include (and are not limited to!): mastering multiplication facts, learning cursive, informational writing, and reading Because of Winn-Dixie.
I graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2011 and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) with a Spanish minor from Susquehanna University in 2015. In 2022, I will graduate from the University of Kansas with my Master of Science in Education with a Reading Specialist License. My teaching career began in a different school district where I taught one year of K-6. I began teaching in the Loyalsock Township School District in 2016, where I taught my first two years in kindergarten. I have been teaching third grade since then and I absolutely love it!
In my spare time I especially love running, biking, swimming, kayaking, doing yoga, and gardening. Other hobbies you might find me doing include reading or spending time with my family and friends.
