LTMS Building Hours-Bell/Daily Cycle/Grading & Report Card Schedules

Building Hours

The building will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. every weekday that school is in session.  Students are not to arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. as there is no supervision. Breakfast will be available in the lobby from 7:30 – 7:50 a.m.  Students will be dismissed from the lobby at 7:45, at which time they may access their lockers and report directly to their first period class.

Loyalsock Township Middle School will operate on a six (6) day cycle. The first day of school will be Day 1. This schedule is very effective with planning and consistency for regular scheduling of classes, unscheduled closings, and scheduled holidays.

Cycle 3: December 12 – February 13, 2020
Cycle 4: February 14 – April 7, 2020
Cycle 5: April 8 – June 5, 2020

Related Arts/Mini Course

Throughout the year, students are assigned to Related Arts/Mini Courses. Related Arts courses include Advanced Manufacturing, Art, Design Technology, Futures, iPad Concepts, Manufacturing Design, Music, PE, and Performing Arts. The Mini Courses include Art, Business & Computer Concepts, Digital Dimensions, Engineering, Electronics & Robotics, Health, Intro Robotics, Electronics & Transportation, Spanish, Business & Tech Solutions, World Drums, and the new Geo Lab. Also, each student may be responsible for the cost of certain materials used for selected projects.
