Curriculum Framework

1. Continue with the alignment of curriculum with the focus on K-8 curriculum alignment in core content areas.
2. Continue to align our courses and adjust instruction to meet the requirements of the PA and Common Core Standards.

Professional Development

1. Ensure that our employees receive outstanding professional development based on the best research available and that we have exposure to best practices and research both in the United States and the world.
2. Provide professional development that exposes our staff to strategies and techniques used to support a wide variety of students from different backgrounds.

Climate and Culture

1. Establish a District-wide school climate and culture where all students and employees feel that they belong, what they do matters and mutual respect is shared between the employees and the students.
2. Provide additional opportunities for parent and guardians to connect with the Loyalsock Township School District through meetings, surveys and other opportunities.

Communication

1. Increase communication to our students, families, employees and community through a wide variety of resources including our District website, social media, District newsletter, and other relevant means available.
2. Continue to pursue business, educational, and community partnerships that benefit the students of Loyalsock Township School District.

Technology

1. Ensure that our technology resources are protected and that we can sustain virus attacks and our recovery plan adequately meets the needs of our District.
2. Continue to leverage the best and most efficient use of technology resources.
