The Public Relations Office offers many ways for parents and community members to receive updates and news regarding district happenings. From written and recorded news stories to the district website, social media and various online and printed publications, news about our schools and many student accomplishments are just a click away.

Media Relations

All media requests should be directed to contact the Public Relations Office.

If you are staff member seeking publicity or promotion for a program, event or service, contact Public Relations Director Greg Hayes at extension 1015 at the District Service Center.


Alert Notifications

The LTSD Public Relations Office uses our alert notification system, ParentSquare, to keep families informed in the event of an emergency, alert, or inclement weather delay, closure, or early dismissal.

Please notify the main office at your child’s school if your phone number or address changes so we can ensure your contact information is up to date in our system.


Inclement Weather

Information about emergencies, school delays and closings are posted on the home page of the district website and on our  district social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
