Dr. Brooke Beiter was appointed Superintendent of Schools on Oct. 1, 2025. A proud graduate of Loyalsock Township High School, she began her career in education right here in the district as a high school English teacher, where she also served as yearbook and journalism advisor. She later took on the role of high school assistant principal for two years before spending eight years in regional executive leadership, supporting educational planning and student services through the intermediate unit system.
As superintendent, Dr. Beiter values collaboration and works to ensure a strong, comprehensive program of study that supports student achievement and prepares graduates for college and career success. She brings experience in strategic planning, school improvement and instructional coaching, all grounded in a commitment to supporting students and educators.
Dr. Beiter earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Shippensburg University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and a Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University. She also holds her Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of her role in the district, Dr. Beiter remains actively involved in the community. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the James V. Brown Library and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Williamsport.
Dr. Beiter underscores the district’s mission to provide high-quality, innovative educational opportunities for all students, sharing: “I am committed to building on Loyalsock’s legacy of providing a strong educational foundation for our students — one that both preserves tradition and paves the way for future excellence.
