About the Superintendent
Dr. Brooke Beiter was appointed Superintendent of Schools on October 1, 2025. Dr. Beiter is a graduate of Loyalsock Township High School and her career in education started in the district as a high school English teacher and yearbook and journalism advisor. She also previously served as high school assistant principal for two years, before dedicating eight years to regional executive leadership in the areas of educational planning and student services through the intermediate unit system of support.
As Superintendent of Schools, she promotes collaborative leadership and the coordination of a comprehensive program of study that will evidence student achievement and college and career readiness for our district graduates. Dr. Beiter brings extensive experience in strategic planning, comprehensive school improvement, and instructional coaching to the district.
Dr. Beiter received her bachelor’s degree in English from Shippensburg University; a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University; a Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University; and her Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania. In the community, she’s on the Board of Trustees for the James V. Brown Library and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Williamsport.
