Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Learn by Doing.

Career & Technical Education (CTE) gives students the opportunity to combine classroom instruction with hands-on, career-focused learning. Through partnerships with regional career and technical education centers, LTHS students can explore career pathways, develop technical skills and earn valuable industry credentials while completing their high school education.

Beginning in 10th grade, eligible students may attend a CTE program for part of the school day while continuing their academic coursework at LTHS. Students graduate with their classmates while gaining real-world experience that prepares them for employment, apprenticeships, military service or college.
