Distinguished Alumni Award
Celebrating Lancers Who Make a Difference
The Lancer Foundation’s Distinguished Alumni Award honors graduates whose achievements, leadership, and service reflect the values of the Lancer community. The program celebrates alumni who have made meaningful contributions in their professions, communities, and the lives of others while inspiring today’s students to dream big.
More than an award, the Distinguished Alumni program reconnects generations of Lancers, celebrates the pride of our community, and recognizes the lasting impact a Loyalsock education can have.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees should:
- Be a graduate of LTHS for at least 15 years.
- Demonstrate outstanding professional, civic, or personal achievement.
- Have made a positive impact through leadership, service, or accomplishment.
- Be in good standing within their community.
- Be willing to return to Loyalsock to participate in recognition events and meet with students and staff.
Posthumous nominations are welcome. Once submitted, nominations remain active for three years for future consideration.
Recognition & Selection
Distinguished Alumni are honored each fall during a community celebration hosted in partnership with The Lancer Foundation and Loyalsock Township School District.
Honorees may also be recognized by the Board of School Directors, have their portrait displayed in the LTHS lobby, and spend time visiting with students and staff to share their experiences and inspire the next generation of Lancers.
Following the nomination deadline, submissions are reviewed by a committee of educators, administrators, and Lancer Foundation Board members. Recipients are selected based on their achievements, leadership, service, and lasting impact.
