Our History
The Lancer Foundation was established in 1992 to support the educational mission of the Loyalsock Township School District. In 2011, the Foundation expanded its mission to provide broader support for academics, music, the arts, athletics, and other programs that enrich the educational experience for every Lancer student.
Today, the Foundation continues to build partnerships among alumni, families, businesses, and community members who share a common goal: creating opportunities that help students learn, grow, and succeed.
Our Purpose
The Lancer Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities through charitable giving. By investing in innovative programs, student experiences, classroom resources, and strategic initiatives, the Foundation helps provide opportunities that extend beyond traditional public funding.
Working alongside the school district, the Foundation serves as a bridge between generous supporters and meaningful opportunities that make a lasting impact on students.
