Mini-Grants for Innovative Learning

The Lancer Foundation’s Mini-Grant Program provides funding to support creative, innovative, and impactful classroom projects that enhance student learning throughout LTSD.

Mini-grants are designed to help educators bring new ideas to life by funding projects, resources, and experiences that may not be possible through traditional school budgets. Individual funding requests may be submitted for up to $1,000.

Eligible educators employed by LTSD are invited to apply for Mini-Grant funding. Applications are accepted three times each school year:

  • October 1
  • January 1
  • April 1

How the Process Works

  1. Complete the online Mini-Grant application.
  2. Submit your application to your building administrator for initial review.
  3. District administrators review each application to ensure it aligns with educational goals, curriculum, budget guidelines, and district policies.
  4. Recommended applications are forwarded to The Lancer Foundation for consideration and approval.
  5. Approved projects receive funding through The Lancer Foundation so implementation can begin.
  6. Share your success. After your project is complete, submit a brief outcomes report describing how the grant benefited students and supported learning.
