Accomplishments

Student Involvement

  • 100 students per year
  • Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Parent volunteers – about 80 parents
    • At least 2 coaches per team – 30
    • 2 judges per team – 30
    • Other parent helpers include about 20
  • Alumni often participate as judges at Tournaments
  • OotM high school graduates report that OotM helped them get into college, receive college scholarships and gain employment requiring problem solving skills

In past 22 years

  • 22 State Champion teams competed at World Finals
  •  8 World Champion teams placing in the top 3 places
    • One first place team in 1992

Odyssey of the Mind Season

OotM season starts the end of September with registration. OotM season runs to:

  •  March Regional Tournament – 1st and 2nd place teams progress to States
  • April State Tournament – 1st and 2nd place teams progress to Worlds
  • May / June World finals
