Welcome to Mrs. Rohrer’s 7th Grade ELA Class Website!
About Mrs. Rohrer…
Hello! My name is Beth Rohrer, and I am thrilled to be your child’s English Language Arts teacher this year. This is my 14th year teaching in the Loyalsock Township School District. I previously spent 4 years in second grade and 9 years in fifth grade. However, I began my teaching career teaching second and third grades in the state of New Hampshire starting in 2001.
Here is my educational background. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English/Communication from Cabrini College in 1997. I spent a couple years working as an editor for a couple newspapers (one of my passions is WRITING:) before deciding to return to the classroom to become a teacher. Teaching writing at the middle school level has been a long term goal for me for sometime, so I am elated to be in this new position this year! I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire in 2001. I taught in the state of New Hampshire before moving to Williamsport in 2004. While teaching in Loyalsock, I earned my Middle Level Language Arts (Grades 7-9) certification. I believe in creating a learning community in my classroom where choice in learning, ongoing conversation, and time to collaborate and explore passions are key elements.
I live in Loyalsock with my husband, Chris, my two daughters, Katie (12 years old) and Alyson (9 years old), and my stepdaughter, Lydia (17 years old). We also have a furry family member, a standard poodle, named Ernie. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are running, reading, and taking walks and bike rides with my family.

About Me
Hello, my name is Mr. Craig Weaver. This is my third year teaching sixth grade math at the middle school. I previously taught fifth grade at Schick Elementary for six years. Before coming to Loyalsock I taught in the Warrior Run School District as a seventh grade math teacher for three years. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with your children and be a part of the Loyalsock family!
I graduated from Montoursville High School in 1999. Then, I attended Lock Haven University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education, Middle School Mathematics, and a minor in Reading. My first year out of college I was fortunate enough to obtain a long-term substitute position in the Montgomery Area School District. The following year I was hired full-time in the Warrior Run School District.
I currently coach high school basketball and baseball at Montoursville. I formerly coached tennis and softball. As you can see I love coaching. In addition, I enjoy playing sports, hunting, and being outdoors. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ashley, and our two boys, Cole and Cruz.
