Silver Cord Volunteer Service Program

The Silver Cord program is a distinguished award available to high school students with the purpose of recognizing their out-of-school volunteer efforts.  Silver Cord promotes a Service Above Self  belief.  Program participation is voluntary for all Loyalsock Twp. High School students.  Students who complete the required 100 volunteer service hours will be recognized at their graduation by wearing a silver cord with their cap and gown and with special mention in the Commencement program.  Loyalsock now uses x2VOL to track service hours, please click here to access informational videos and create your account.

Working Papers

As a result of changes related to COVID-19, the state has recently changed the way students are able to get their working papers to get a job.   Please complete the following steps to process your working papers:

  1. Student/parent downloads work permit application from LTSD website:  Application for Work Permit download
  2. Parent completes application and signs electronically
  3. Student/parent emails application as an attachment to:  workingpapers@loyalsocklancers.org
  4. Once received, the student will be contacted and instructed to come into the main office to complete the working permit (parent does not need to be present unless online application could not be filled out and submitted electronically).

Donate Your Lancer Memorabilia

The Loyaslock Township High School is in search of older articles, relics, and mementos for its archives and for possible display within the school building.  Old Loyalsock Township School District and High School pennants, memorabilia, pictures, sports jerseys, uniforms, and awards will be considered for donation.

Please contact the high school main office at (570)326-3581 if you have Lancer relics that you would like to donate. Donated items will be appreciated; however, items will not be returned unless specific arrangements are made with the school.
